Parallel Duo brings together Zhang Guanya and Wang Xiangyue, two Shanghai Conservatory master’s graduates whose chamber work, touring, and collaborations have shaped a premium teaching profile for students seeking more than routine instruction.

The duo has appeared at Shanghai Concert Hall, Shanghai Symphony Hall, CCTV, China International Import Expo, Arknights concerts, and stages across Shanghai, Xi’an, Zhengzhou, Suzhou, Ningbo, Wuhu, and beyond. Wang Xiangyue also brings a strong lecture-concert, academic, and teaching profile that gives the studio offer real depth.

Zhang Guanya

张冠亚

Zhang Guanya · Guitarist · Arranger · Chamber Collaborator

A Shanghai Conservatory master’s graduate and Shanghai Guitar Art Association board member, Zhang moves fluidly between classical guitar, pop guitar, and lute. His work is especially defined by arrangement, crossover chamber projects, and performance design.

Wang Xiangyue

王翔越

Wang Xiangyue · Guitarist · Pianist · Educator

With formal training in both classical guitar and piano, Wang brings academic depth, editorial sensitivity, and a strong lecture-concert and teaching profile to the duo. She has taught or lectured at the Shanghai Conservatory, Tongji University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, and currently serves on the faculty of the Henan Academy of Music at Zhengzhou University.
