About the Duo

Built on chamber precision, shaped for modern audiences.

Parallel Duo is built by Zhang Guanya and Wang Xiangyue, two musicians whose training, touring, and chamber work have shaped an unusually synchronized classical guitar partnership. Their work spans orthodox classical repertoire, world music, tango, bossa, jazz, and refined adaptations from film, game, and light music traditions.

Past appearances include 贺绿汀音乐厅, 上海音乐厅, 上海交响音乐厅, 东方艺术中心, Blue Note, CCTV, and stages across Shanghai, Xi’an, Zhengzhou, Suzhou, Ningbo, Wuhu, and Tokyo.
